John Ray & Sons Offers New Captain’s Choice Marine Gasoline
Thursday, June 10, 2010 – John Ray & Sons is now offering a new product developed specifically for the marine community — Captain’s Choice® Marine Gasoline.
Gasoline in the Northeast contains up to 10 percent ethanol additive that can cause major problems in marine vehicles. It may corrode fuel systems, overburden filters and clog engines, break down fiberglass fuel tanks and quickly absorb water from humidity.
“Captain’s Choice is specially formulated to enhance engine performance, improve fuel efficiency and fight ethanol problems — such as corrosion and phase separation — that result from using regular gas blended with ethanol in marine vehicles,” said Ken Ray, President of John Ray & Sons.
Captain’s Choice Marine Gasoline contains a combination of high-performance additives that resolves ethanol problems and improves fuel economy and engine performance.
Retards gum formation.
Protects against corrosion caused by ethanol-induced water attraction.
Prevents fuel degradation.
Keeps the fuel system clean.
Eliminates carbon build up.
Increases fuel economy.
Stabilizes gas between uses and in storage.
Captain’s Choice is available at many marinas located throughout the Saratoga and Lake George regions and the greater Capital District.
