Giving back locally where it matters most

This season, John Ray & Sons proudly sponsored the Feed Your Mind, Feed A Family initiative in Rensselaer County, NY, donating $1,000 and lending hands-on support to help load and distribute meals to local food pantries and families in need.

The program, led by Renss Lens, a regional storytelling platform that highlights community impact, aims to fight hunger by providing full turkey dinners to households across the county. For every new subscription to Renss Lens, a meal is donated, with a goal of 40 meals delivered this season.

Thanks to the generosity of sponsors like John Ray & Sons, Hudson Valley Community College, the State University of New York and others, this year’s campaign provided many food items, including a 12lb turkey, stuffing, potatoes, corn, cranberry sauce, rolls, and soda. All hand-delivered or distributed through trusted partners like Schaghticoke Food Pantry, Pittstown Area Food Pantry, Our Lady of Victory and Community Life Support.
