John Ray was one of the first retail distributors in New York State to offer a renewable fuel alternative – called biodiesel fuel – for vehicles.

Our biodiesel fuel is a B20 mix – a blend of 20% soybean oil and 80% traditional petrodiesel approved for use in diesel engines with few or no modifications to the engine or fuel system.  We offer a B5 blend for winter use.

Now, because of many requests from our customers, we’re pleased to offer bioheating oil to the many homes and commercial and institutional facilities we service.

Our bioheat fuel is a blend of 95% home heating oil, which is petroleum-based, with 5% soybean oil, a biodegradable oil made from the soybean crops grown in the United States. No modifications need to be made to your heating system to convert to bioheat fuel.
